Todd Hugen Photography is a family-owned business and partnership between husband-and- wife team Todd and Peggy Hugen. Together, the Hugens have shot more than 150 weddings and hundreds of families, babies, and high school seniors.
Deal’s Orchard is a family run apple orchard located in Jefferson, Iowa. From humble beginnings dating back to 1917, Deal’s Orchard has grown to its present size of 45 acres, selling produce in many central Iowa grocery stores. They have over 25 varieties of Iowa apples as well as tomatoes, sweet corn, pumpkins, holiday gift baskets, and plenty of other seasonal fruits and vegetables. In 1999 they planted their first crop of Scotch Pine trees and now have a wide selection of Christmas trees on their Tree Farm.

Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa, tells the amazing story of how Iowans transformed the fertile prairies of the Midwest into the most productive farmland in the world. While at the 500-acre open- air museum, visitors travel at their own pace through historical time periods spanning 300 years. On-site interpreters provide a unique learning environment of seasonal activities and demonstrations.
The Ames History Center is located at 416 Douglas Avenue. The History Center includes archival storage, offices, a media room, meeting space, and display space. Artifacts are currently stored in more than ten off-site storage facilities.
Foley’s Russian Bees is an Iowa-based bee breeding company specializing in Primorsky Russian Bees. FRB’s breeding yard is located inside the city of Des Moines near Easter Lake. The area was notably devoid of any natural honeybees for years before our yards were introduced. Since that time we are proud to say that the pollination of gardens and small orchards have sky-rocketed (doing our part for the local community). Besides breeding queens and making nucleus colonies for honey producers, FRB produces equipment used in beekeeping.
RVP~1875, the world’s only producing historical furniture shop and museum, is located in the century-old Milligan Lumber Grain & Coal building in Jefferson, Iowa. Owner Robby Pedersen is a Master Furniture Maker with over 20 years experience, who has built over 800 pieces of historically accurate furniture using only the tools, techniques, and finishes used in 1875 Iowa.  On display is the largest working set of 19th Century woodworking tools well...anywhere.
